Home Beatmaking & Production Where to buy hip hop beats? | LOOK NO FURTHER!

Don't forget to share if you found it helpful!

Hey friend and Welcome aboard!!

Before we get started, check out my guide on how to build a home studio!!

But aside from that, have you been wondering where to buy hip hop beats and couldn’t find a legitimate website? Well I’m here to tell you your search is over!

Passion

I have been making beats since 2007, and sampling since 2009. I have a very keen ear for music and sound, and have no doubt that you will know my beats are quality when you listen to them.

Over the years, I have always maintained my passion for making music. There were times when I got discouraged and even felt like quitting on occasion. The love of making beats has always kept me in the studio. The feeling that comes from discovering that perfect sound or arrangement of sounds is what fuels the fire and keeps me going. I don’t make radio friendly hip-hop. I make music for the soul. This is not an exaggeration 🙂

Connections

The connections I have made during this time have really been important to me as well. There is no better feeling than collaborating with an artist. Whether they record vocals to your beat or use a track for one of their projects, the friendships and partnerships that blossom become priceless.

Technique

While I loop on occasion, Most of my samples are chopped and arranged very meticulously and carefully. I always keep the rapper/emcee in mind when I create. I want to be able to rap over the beat myself! That is why I’m always tweaking the beat and mixing it down until it sounds ready to go.

WARNING

My beats are extremely soulful. They have been known to make people feel some type of way. Listen for yourself and find out!! 🙂

Hey bryan! Thanks for your comment 🙂 I would say when you are starting out, have a passion for what you are doing. Many times people get into it because they heard about the money aspect. If you love making beats, it will show in your work. As far as the technical side, I would invest in a few things: A Digital Audio Workstation being the main thing, which you can read about on my page! Also if you want to get into sampling, there is a great option that I recommend. I have not done a review on my drum pads yet, but that is also something to consider. I don’t use mine 24/7, but it’s nice to have. A couple other things that I wish I had when I was starting out are studio monitors and headphones, neither of which will “color” your sound. It’s nice to be able to mix properly now!! 😀
